For furniture and other larger items, you should ensure protection of the finish use a quality corrugated cardboard and be sure to strap the item with either strapping bands or nylon strapping tape. Double boxing is a must for China, glassware, and other small fragile items. These items should be hand wrapped in a padding such as bubble wrap or paper. The items should be separated from each other with more padding businessshippers and than placed inside a inner shipping box. These items should than be placed inside the actual shipping box(s) with at least 2" of businessshippers padding between the inside box and the shipping box.
